Balloon Storytelling Show

Balloons become the story props, kids help act out the adventure, and the audience joins in the fun. This interactive format keeps children engaged from beginning to end and builds toward a hands-on balloon twisting finale where kids twist their own balloon creation.

How much space do you need for the show?
A minimum space of 10’ x 10’ is ideal for the performance area. Audience seating can be arranged classroom-style or theater-style, depending on your room layout.
How long does setup and teardown take?
I arrive one hour before showtime to ensure a smooth setup and proper coordination with staff. Packing up typically takes less than 30 minutes.
What if our program room is small or oddly shaped?
No problem. I adapt to multipurpose rooms, reading areas, and unconventional spaces. For smaller rooms, pre-registration may be recommended to avoid overcrowding.
What age range works best for your shows?
The shows are designed for children up to age 12, with pacing that works for mixed-age family audiences. The Twisty Fun Workshop is recommended for ages 6 and up through teens.
How do you handle very large groups?
Large groups are managed through structured pacing and frequent audience participation. The interactive style keeps kids engaged while maintaining control of the room.
What if we have toddlers and older kids in the same audience?
The show works well for mixed-age groups. Parents are encouraged to supervise toddlers and step out briefly if needed to keep the environment comfortable for everyone.
How does the balloon twisting work?
Most library shows conclude with an interactive balloon twisting finale. Kids follow along step-by-step and create a simple balloon design themselves.

Children 5 and under may need parental assistance.
For the Twisty Fun Workshop, the recommended age is 6 and up.

Does every child get a balloon?
Balloon participation is generally recommended for children ages 3 and up, or age 2 with close parental supervision.
