I’m a STORYTELLER

with a TWIST!

Balloon Storytelling is an interactive way to tell stories, using twisty balloons as props.

It involves using some of the children in the audience to perform the story, and

the rest of the audience also gets in on the fun since their participation is part of the script!

Stories from Aesop’s Fables, Greek Mythology & other Fairy Tales are all available.

Mr. Mark likes to include a few fun magic tricks in his storytelling, too!

MY STORY

I started my adventure in storytelling with balloons the year before the pandemic.  I had a fantastic teacher, Annie Banannie, but by the time I was ready with a show, COVID hit the fan… The delay was the best thing that happened for my storytelling, and, also, other aspects of my entertainment business. Instead of sitting around and moping about my plight, I jumped in and learned a new aspect of the business – magic for kids. Thanks to Barry Mitchell, Christopher Barnes, and Buster Balloon I’ve added a silly, fun magic show to my business, and I’ve added magic to my storytelling shows!

It’s proved to be a great mix!

The shows finally took flight after a two-year delay, but are greatly improved for all the input I received from these Masters of Magic, along with others I met (virtually) along the way. The shows now combine balloons, magic, song and dance, books, some educational tidbits, and pure silliness to make it a well-rounded show.

You don’t want to miss out on this fun act!

Take a look at the reviews below.

“Such a great laugh out loud balloon program at the library today!! Mr. Mark’s program was a huge success, involving knights in shining armor, a queen, a dragon, and a frog.”

Library Director, Sutton County Public Library

“Highly Recommend!  He has natural ability with kids and  got them involved in the show.

“Mr. Mark kept our attention with tales of knights and princesses and fire breathing dragons!

And everyone went home with a sword to live out their dream of being a knight.”
